Beasties of the Heart

Things are not always what they seem. At times we see what we remember, rather than what is in front of us.

At times we observe what we desire, or fear, rather than what is present. We all have beasts inside of us; happy beasts, angry beasts, sad beasts, powerful beasts, frightened beasts, loving beasts, and more.

Times that assault our humanness, personally, environmentally or politically, we can become even more inter-related. Clan and ‘other’ converge, a spark of divinity ignites us all, melding archetypal contradictions with whimsy.

May these beasties make you smile, surprise you in what you have taken for granted, and open you to embrace your beasts within and the visceral wisdom that dwells within us all.
